Key Guidelines for Reservation Category Applicants
- Caste/Caste-Income Certificate Requirement:
Karnataka candidates applying under reservation categories must obtain a valid Caste or Caste-Income Certificate from the concerned Tahsildar of Karnataka. The RD number from this certificate must be entered during the online application process. - Verification Through Revenue Department:
Details such as Caste, Income, and 371(J) eligibility will be automatically verified through the Revenue Department’s web service based on the RD number provided by the candidate. - Update Regarding Scheduled Caste Candidates:
Candidates have brought to the notice of KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) that RD certificates containing internal reservation details are currently not available for Scheduled Caste candidates, as per the existing Government Order. - Document Verification Process:
For Scheduled Caste candidates of Karnataka who have claimed reservation in their online application, internal reservation details (RD number) will be collected and verified during document verification.
